Sono cresciuto in un maso tra Ortisei e Castelrotto, in una famiglia numerosa dove la montagna era parte della vita quotidiana. A sei anni facevo già le prime escursioni con mio padre e a otto conoscevo i nomi dei sentieri meglio di molti adulti. Da allora non ho mai smesso di camminare.
I grew up on a farmstead between Ortisei and Castelrotto, in a large family where the mountains were part of everyday life. At six years old I was already hiking with my father and at eight I knew the trail names better than most adults. Since then I have never stopped walking.
